RAF Convergence Ruler
RAF Rule (Royal Air Force Rule) provides a binocular gauge to measure Objective and Subjective Convergence as well as Accommodation in 1 mm increments. The RAF Rule consists of a 50 cm long rule with a slider holding a rotating four-sided cube. Each side has a different target. The first has a vertical line with a central dot for convergence fixation. The others provide a limited number of lines of near reading examples.
A rest is provided for the cheek to insure consistency and proper height for the patient. Some studies have shown greater consistence of the NPC when measured with the RAF Rule compared to using a pencil or finger.
This instrument is used for determining the objective and subjective convergence points, examining the accommodation and determining the master eye. The RAF Rule is useful for both diagnosis and treatment.

Eye Sphere 12mm
When an eye is severely damaged by trauma or disease, it may be necessary to remove it surgically. The most common procedures are evisceration (removal of the contents of the eye) or enucleation (removal of the eye itself). Eye spheres are permanent implants to occupy the cavity that results from surgery. Conformers are temporary devices, which maintain the shape of the eye and prevent closure or adhesion during the healing process. When healing is complete, conformers are replaced with a prosthesis.

4 Meter Original Series ETDRS Chart 2
Designed for use in clinical studies and low vision
standardized format accepted in studies
Designed for use in clinical studies and low vision evaluations where accurate, repeatable visual acuity measurements are required.
Lines are of equal difficulty.
Geometric progression in letter size from line to line.
Letter size is only variable.
Can be wall-mounted.
ETDRS charts use a series of three charts with different permutations of optotypes. ETDRS Chart 1 is used to test the right eye’s acuity. ETDRS Chart 2, and Chart R are used to test the visual acuity in the left eye and both eyes, respectively. The use of three ETDRS eye charts to test the visual acuity of one patient prevents memorization and helps increase accuracy and consistency in results.

Accomodative Flipper
Flippers are used to increase the speed and reduce the latency of the speed of response for those with difficulty shifting focus. Alternating Accommodative Flipper (aka Rock Flipper) vision therapy can be conducted in and out or at home for focusing disorders. The primary focusing dysfunction this procedure treats is accommodative infacility (a problem shifting focus from near to far and back again).
